On July 29th we celebrated Dads birthday, made a cake and after went out on the river fishing and tubing. Pat and the boys each caught a fish. Gabe and Chance went tubing and so did Missy. We stopped at a island for awhile and Missy and the kids made a sand castle. Tom and Pat chased away a snake. Fun day? Thanks Missy and Tom. Happy Birthday Dad.

First day of school 2015
Gabe started 7th grade, high school already. I can't believe it. It will be fun to see him during the school day. Chance starts 4th grade with Mr Schofield.
I'm starting my 17th year teaching, that went fast!
Gabe 7th grade football
Football started August 1 and was a few hot days in there. Gabe thought practice was rough and hard in August, but loved playing games. Their record was 7-1 and they won their conference. Gabe played half back and tackle. His coach this year was Mr Schofield
Chance third grade baseball
Chance went out for baseball this year. He did well for his first season. He pitched occasionally and played third base and left field. They also had a big Goodhue tournament in June.
It was fun watching him play.
Helping Hands for Missy Cancer benefit
In April 2015, we had Missy's Cancer benefit at the Bluffs. We spent three months organizing the meal, which was so good! Had a silent auction that went well along with a bake sale and live auction. Much thanks to all the people who donated, sent items for the auction and who showed up.
I also included a picture of a a Cancer walk we participated in Ellsworth in July. That was a hot one. Whew! Missy has a lot of support as she battles Cancer. Much love Missy.
